Hakim Bwanika
Hakim has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Management. He has five years of multi-regional experience in projects development, management and rapid start. He has recently completed a Master’s in Leadership for Sustainability from Malmö University.

Kara De Kretser
Kara graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts with an Arts Major in Anthropology from LaTrobe University, Melbourne, Australia. She has studied international law and development studies abroad at the LIUC Carlo Cattaneo and Roma Tre universities in Italy. She has experience working with asylum seekers, and in the development of legal policy and lobbying. In 2009 she completed a course in Strategic Sustainable Development at the Blekinge Institute of Technology and is now completing her Masters in Leadership for Sustainability at Malmö University, Sweden.

Jake Hunter
Jake has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of North Texas and a Master’s degree in Leadership for Sustainability from Malmö University and is currently working toward a Master in Communication for Development. After completing his studies Jake worked for several years at a non-profit organization coordinating after-school and summer programs for children focusing on issues associated with social and culture differences.

Alia has a Masters degree in International Development and Management from Lund University. Her specialisation is public health and project management. She has work experience from India, Tanzania and Sweden on issues of domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, gender equality and youth leadership development.

Patrik Jonasson
Patrik has a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on entrepreneurship and business management. He also has a Masters in International Relations. He has worked abroad in North America, Australia, New Zealand and South America and has experience in project development, marketing and social innovation. Patrik recently completed a minor field study in Ghana as part of his Masters in Communication for Development.

Samantha Savage
Samantha received her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with an emphasis in Latin America and Politics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She studied abroad in Santiago, Chile with the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences. After her studies she volunteered for El Centro Latino, a local community center to help immerse Latin Americans into the community. Currently Samantha is finishing her Master’s in Global Political Science with an emphasis in Human Rights.

Faheem Shah
Faheem has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with minor studies in International Political Economy and International Organizations. He has worked with community organizations in the devastating earth-quake affected areas of Pakistan. He has volunteered for the rehabilitation of internally displaced persons after millions were affected during the operation against the Taliban. Faheem is in the process of completing his Master’s degree in Global Political Studies with an emphasis in International Relations from Malmö University.
